Michael (Mick) J. McQuaid is an assistant professor at the School of Information. Before coming to SI, McQuaid held a post-doctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University .
He has also served as a systems analyst for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection; an instructor with the University of Wisconsin's Department of Operations and Information Management; and a research associate and then research scientist with the University of Arizona Department of MIS and Center for Management of Information.
McQuaid's honors and awards include the vice-presidency of the Information Systems Doctoral Students Association, a Ford Foundation travel grant, and a KPMG Scholarship to support his doctoral work. His work has been published in Decision Support Systems and the International Journal of Human-Computer Studies.
