Sondrestrom facility, Greenland

The Sondrestrom facility, including transmitter and instrument building, power plant, and crew housing.

The Sondrestrom ISR in Greenland was the seed instrument site around which SPARC initially grew.  The facility is located north of the Arctic Circle in western Greenland near Kangerlussuaq (Søndre Strømfjord).

The TING model shown beneath the Sondrestrom ISR graph shows the supercomputer simulation for the same time and region of the sky.
